Ed Payne from Lindon, Utah has made some amazing discoveries using Google Earth.  An incredible series of ancient lines, circles and shapes has been documented similar to the famous landscape lines in Nazca, Peru except these lines exist on the American landscape.  The circular features, and various linear shapes are connected by lines and they appear to be ancient in origin found in very remote locations in Utah.  Many of the geoglyphs have been partially hidden by nature and some of the lines have been turned into modern roads.  Some long lines continue up to the edges of tall cliffs where they are abruptly cut off by a vertical drop. 

Specifications of the geoglyphs:

• Width of the lines are between 7-20 feet wide.
• Circles are not always symmetrical.
• Circles are between 277-330 feet in diameter.
• Circles consist of 2 and 3 circle formations.
• Circular features are not always equally spaced on the landscape.
• Linear 4 and 6 line patterns are generally equally placed on the landscape.
• 4 and 6 line patterns range in size from 320-400 feet wide.
• Numerous lines exist side by side or within close proximity to each other suggesting the main purpose of the lines was not for transportation.

-Ancient Circles divided into 12 Utah

This is an example of a very unusual circle which is one of 3 found on the same main line which is divided by 12.  All three circles are the same dia. and have been placed as part of a much larger pattern several miles in length. The dia. is about 370 ft therefore remains undetected on site.

-Ancient Line Patterns Utah

These two patterns represent or are similiar to many other 6 line patterns found in South Eastern Utah however these are significant because they have the main line through their middle area and the main line goes for several thousand feet very straight. Notice the modern dirt road above the patterns. A well known archaeologist had noticed very long lines of ancient origin in the area. These patterns were discovered after his discovery and they represent a very unusual form compared to the many other six line patterns currently being observed in the area. Reaction from the professionals must be part of tar sands explorations or uranium explorations in the 50’s, as it turns out after significant research there were no such activities, as reported by those few left to report, that would have ever created such patterns.
 

Who made them, when and how, you decide; these lines are about 400 ft long and share the same distance between lines and remain unseen on location. These patterns along with the many others found in Utah remain a mystery. They are located just west of Comb Ridge to the west of Blanding Utah. Notice the modern dirt road above and the main line shared by both patterns of 6 lines which is very straight and goes for several thousand feet.

-Ancient 6 Line Pattern Utah

Ancient 6 line pattern very evident and seemingly unaffected by time.  This pattern shares the same dimensions of the many others but is clear enough to also show what I call a leader line from the end of the lines on one side. There are several of these patterns separated by the same distance apart and same length of cross lines that make up a much larger pattern.

 -Ancient Circles and lines Utah

This represents a very clear view of a circle pattern with the view of other lines in the area which are the same age. It is a mystery how something which is apparently so old is so well preserved in the area this is located however there are many which are very difficult to see and many, many are lost for ever. Overall size makes this very difficult to see if not impossible on location.

-Ancient Circles Utah

This is an example of the many circles found in a remote area of South Eastern Utah.

-Ancient Circles High Plateau Utah

This plateau area with its ancient remote circles is about 1000 ft above the bottom of the canyon. It is at the end of a string of circles stretched out across the plateau, it is about 290 ft in diameter and with the usual main line stretching back across the horizon with the next circle being at a distance of about 2000 ft. and the following circles being about 2600 ft from the last and the one after being about 2300 ft. and then 2370 ft. from that one is another and so on. There are over 36 such circles to be seen on this very remote high plateau.

Seen here on a main line can be seen a ground glyph which is one of many to be found in the area, some are also impossible to detect but some like these are still visible, they measure about 400 ft long by 170 ft wide which makes them large enough that they remain unseen on site.
